This bread is from "The New Basics Cookbook" by Julee Rosso and Sheila Lukins. I made this recipe in memory of Sheila, who passed away on August 31, 2009.
The Lemon Blueberry Bread is more of a cake or coffeecake than a traditional bread, and it is delicious!

These are incredible. Crispy top, light and moist on the inside, with blueberry bursting as you bite into them. Serious joy here, people.

Peach, Blueberry & Blackberry Cobbler Crisp
From the Common Grill Cookbook by Chef Craig Common.
I bought this cookbook many years ago at a used book sale. It was sleeveless, and had a coffee cup stain on the cover. At that time, I had never heard of Chef Craig Common or his restaurant, The Common Grill. Well, life has a funny way of tying things together. It wasn’t until my graduate school years, at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, that I happened to hear of a great little restaurant about 20 minutes away in the sleepy town of Chelsea (which happens to also be the home of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix, believe it or not). These were made from the peaches I picked up yesterday morning at the farmers market.
