Some cool recipes images:
Roasted chestnuts, peeled.

Cut an ‘X’ into rounded side of each chestnut.
Arrange chestnuts on a baking sheet, with the cut sides up.
Roast in oven at 425 degrees F for 20 minutes or so. Do not burn!
Remove, let cool to touch. (What they look like, just out of the oven: here.)
Peel the outer shell AND inner skin.

A Varied Diet

Zoo keepers monitor closely the species of fish that each penguin eats. Like us, they need a varied diet. Some fish contain more fat than others, and the birds may prefer them because they taste better! But, they also need fish with more meat content.

A few nice cookbook images I found:
Cookbook rack 1

Image by THE Holy Hand Grenade!
Cookbook bookshelf as made by the photographer, to fit a very narrow space between a cabinet and the swing of a door. Horizontal pieces are mounts, as the studs are nowhere near where the bookshelves are mounted. (also serving as a mount for a day-pack hook…) Made of knotty pine dimensional (1×8) lumber with a ¼ inch plywood back, finished with my traditional one coat of orange shellac. (Upper mounting piece is finished with clear shellac, as a test – I needed to match the cabinet…) Taken by a Nikon D40x with a Nikon 18-55mm non-VR kit lens (at 31) Camera’s on-board flash fired.
