Soldiers from the 173rd ABCT, U.S. Army Africa (SETAF), Garrison Vicenza and several other units stationed in Italy enjoyed a taste of home with a full spread of turkey, ham and roast beef with all the fixings.

I don’t know how French this is, but the kids cooked this up for theme night. They dressed up and painted on a curly mustache – we even had paparazzi harassing the diva! Lots of fun and the food was easy…and yummy!

Soldiers, Retirees, civilian employees, family members, and Italian employees enjoyed the traditional meal served in both the South of the Alps Dining Facility and the Del Din Dining Facility.

Soldiers serve meals to homeless in Baltimore
Members of the Maryland National Guard volunteered to help serve their community by working with the Catholic Charities Our Daily Bread soup kitchen in Baltimore on Saturday, Nov. 30.
Eleven Soldiers from Headquarters Company of the 1-175th Infantry Regiment from Dundalk, Md. worked in the soup kitchen this Thanksgiving holiday season to help those less fortunate and homeless.
“Each day Our Daily Bread in Baltimore serves more than 400 meals a day to the hungry and homeless,” said 1st Lt. Brandon Williams. “This is a great way for us to give back to the citizens of Baltimore.”
Williams the event organizer, works full-time for the Catholic Charities homeless shelter just across the street from the soup kitchen and sees the need for volunteers.
Catholic Charities of Baltimore provides nutritious lunches every day of the year and breakfast to families, people living in poverty, individuals with intellectual disabilities and seniors.
