Elgin Manor- Cookbook Project Planned, 1978

Title: In August 1978, residents at Elgin Manor were in the process of putting together a cookbook, containing favourite recipes of manor residents, staff and families. Under the direction of the Residents’ Council, the project spearheaded by Mrs. Olive Beatty, Mrs. Wilhelmene Clinton and Mrs. Margaret Chitty, was hoped to be completed in time for Christmas. Looking over a variety of cookbook styles are from left, Mrs. Clinton, Mrs. Beatty and Albert Orchard, president of the council.
