Roasted Rice Cakes

Rice cakes are pan roasted so they’re crispy on the outside but still chewy. The sauce has roasted onions that I burnt a little but it still worked.

My mother made salads with lettuce. The Dutch ladies from the Beaverdam Reformed Church would never do such a thing.
