Got cherries at the farmer’s market, but not enough for a pie. The boy stretched them with ricotta and egg. Very nice!

Cheesy Black Rice
Another goodie I picked up at the Asian market is black sweet rice. It’s a nutty flavored sticky rice. I was going to try making beans and rice with it, but after tasting it the nutty flavor seemed perfect for a simple cheese addition. It worked really well too!
1 cup black sweet rice
2 cups water
1/4 cup shredded cheddar
Cook black sweet rice in your rice cooker. When done, mix in cheddar and stir until melted.

I used clay pots for the oven so that I can cook at 120 Deg C for 7 hours, using baking paper to get a good seal on the lid.
I added liver to heart and coveered wityh vindaloo sauce annd natural yoghurt before slow cooking.
Amazing.
