This is the second page of my personalized cookbook. I’m especially proud of this page because I learned a new overlay technique which makes Sami’s picture look like it was printed on the cardboard. I erased the cardboard from behind her eyes so that they would stand out more.

There is a chapter of salads, but otherwise this book is all desserts!

I love cookbooks. Even though these days I cook from recipes probably less than half the time, I just like having a lot of cookbooks around, and really enjoy flipping through them looking for inspiration. As some of you might be able to tell from this photo, Mark Bittman is one of my favorites.
