Two of the three vegetarian cookbooks I own. I borrowed Saving Dinner the Vegetarian way from my friend Megan one day, and quickly realized I would have been Xeroxing the entire book. My mom sent Ian and I the Vegetarian Times one for Christmas, and it has a wealth of recipes that we can’t wait to try out.

Open Streets Minneapolis temporarily closes major thoroughfares to car traffic and opens them up for walking, biking, skating, and other active transportation. One goal is giving Minneapolis residents an opportunity to rethink streets as public space. On this day Nicollet Ave was closed between Lake St and 46th St from 11am to 5pm.
