Day 235.
I love cookbooks. Even though these days I cook from recipes probably less than half the time, I just like having a lot of cookbooks around, and really enjoy flipping through them looking for inspiration. As some of you might be able to tell from this photo, Mark Bittman is one of my favorites.

Arlene Justice’s retirement luncheon

Friends, family, and colleagues of Mrs. Arlene Justice gathered at Top of the Bay on April 24 to celebrate her retirement after almost 40 years of dedicated government service. Justice began working as a GS-01 clerk typist with OC&S in 1972 and rose through the ranks to become the Garrison’s Resource Manager in the Budget Office. Team APG wishes Arlene Justice a happy and well-deserved retirement!

My Ron Paul Family Cookbook

Someone asked for proof that I have one. I can’t find a date anywhere in it, and Paul’s hair is not entirely grey, so I’m guessing it’s around twenty years old.
