I’d rather die of a heart attack than cook from this book! I bought it for my husband because he has high colesterol, but every recipe we tried was lacking in flavor. The Southwestern Ratatouille was bland, and other recipes didn’t fare any better. The recipe titles are tantalizing, but fail to deliver flavor.

I am truly disappointed with this cookbook. It is in a type of print that is very difficult to read even for my good eyes. The list of ingredients for most recipes is a huge deterrent in my making the majority of these recipes.

Excellent book. Provides us with some great and simple receipes. As with most diets serving size mattters. This book coupled with my new digital scale has helped my wife and I shed weight. As a side benefit my blood sugar has dropped about 10 points on average. It would be nice have a chorlesterol counter included.

This cook book is amazingly good. I’m not much of a cook so I had to buy a lot of new spices. All of the recipes I have tried so far are wonderful! I highly recommend this cookbook to anyone that loves food, but wants to eat healthy. It proves that eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring and bland.

When this book arrived, I spent hours looking through it and noting recipes I wanted to try. I collect cookbooks and love to cook, but unfortunately most of my recipes are not heart (or body) healthy. That’s why I am so enthralled with this one. The recipes I’ve tried so far are fantastic. Now I can cook to my heart’s delight and for my heart’s health at the same time.
