I’ve discovered an old cookbook with recipes from Ballarat locals. As an ex chef I’m finding these hilarious. 1/2 packet of Continental Bacon and Onion Soup mix to make Carbonara… Oh the horror!

I’m still a little freaked out at how I’m going to get the hair drawn. It should also be noted that this drawing is 11×14", and I’m only getting about the top 2/3 of it in the scan. I’ll do 2 scans and cut/paste it on the final product.

From this recipe from Pioneer Woman. If you can’t find canned green chilies (as I couldn’t) I would not recommend substituting a jalapeno, as I did! It was way too spicy, but still delicious! The next day was even better with rice to cut the spice a bit.
