Barbecue

We went hunting for Bicol-made abaca bags in the nearby town of Malilipot. The bags are really chic and cheap. Like these barbecues that sell at 6 pesos each, marinated in a concoction of soy sauce-calamansi-garlic, and without the tocino texture of those sold back home in Nueva Ecija.

Barbecued Ribs at The Mango Bar

When we arrived at The Mango Bar for dinner, their special was the Barbecue, which they were doing on a charcoal pit on the beach. It smelled incredible and had it’s fame as the best barbecue in Cabo. Q and I were side-tracked by the seafood but Michael went for the ribs. He thought they were incredible.

True brazilian barbecue – Day 45

This is the true Brazilian barbecue, made in a brick barbecue place, with big skewers and big chunks of meat. Hummm How I missed that! The best complement to it? Caipirinhas, of course!
