Buttery Halibut with Smashed Potatoes

I bought some fresh halibut at the farmer’s market as well as some fresh corn (thus corn instead of the suggested asparagus). Everything else I did by the book. It turned out nicely. The potatoes were really good (though very simple) and went really well with the fish and the sun-dried tomato and scallion butter. Jeff liked it, too. This had a very comfort food feel to me.
