Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Bedford and Farmville-based Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, also known as Task Force Red Dragon, hold a family day event Nov. 19, 2021, in Bedford, Virginia. Families gathered at the Bedford Readiness Center to learn more about the upcoming deployment as well as share a meal and quality time with their Soldiers. Alpha Company Soldiers were presented challenge coins from members of the Bedford Boys Tribute Center.
