First of all, when I recieved the cook book I was hoping for something my daughter could use as she is just starting out on her own. I felt as though a slow cooker recipe book would be useful so she could have her dinner ready when she gets home from work etc.

When I recieved the book, the cover was nearly torn off it. This was disappointing as it was to be a Christmas present. Additionally, there were very few photos and as far as I’m concerned I never know if I want to try a recipe until I see the food. I’m sure younger people are even more like this than someone my age.

For this reason, it’s my intention to return the book for a refund.

Oh well. Amazon is a really nice place to shop, however, and I don’t have a bad thing to say about the company.. just the book itself was a disappointment.

When I ordered this book, I didn’t realize that the recipes were meant to be cooked in a small crockpot. I have a large one and wasn’t interested enough in these recipes to go out and buy a smaller one. Some of the recipes sounded good but none really grabbed my attention.

Gave it as a gift and seems to be working out well for a medium-sized slow cooker

Since I got this online, I didn’t realize it was for the smaller slow cookers. There’s no nutrition information with the recipes, a pet peeve of mine. The recipes are appealing (no photos). Everything from overnight oatmeal (steel cut and regular) and various broths. I used my slow cooker last night, but I used a recipe found online instead.
