vaguely portuguese roast?

I have this memory of my mom making something she called portuguese that consisted of pork, linguica, green olives, and lemon, but I can find no evidence of this dish being even remotely authentic.
whatever, it tastes good anyway.
boil whole potatoes until a knife goes in easily, brown the sausage sliced. cut the potatoes and add both to a caserole dish with green olives, sliced lemon, salt, and a splash of red wine. pour the sausage grease over the dish, toss to cover, and roast covered at 400 for 40 min, then uncovered for 20 or so.
