Nice Cookbook photos
A few nice cookbook images I found:
Carpaccio of Yellowfin Tuna Nicoise

We used big eye instead of yellowfin, and skipped cutting it into a pretty ring, cuz that fish was way too awesome to waste.
Served with an herb salad (with parsley, marjoram, chives, and thyme from the garden), a nicoise olive tapenade, challah crouton, and a hard cooked egg.
Sorry, Thomas, I didn’t buy quail eggs.
Recipe in progress: tartar sauce

This is a recipe from my grandma’s cookbook (1930s), though there’s no evidence she ever made it. I’ll be doing a post about this recipe on Resurrected Recipes when I have time.
The recipe is asparagus on toast, topped with tartar sauce, so I used the book’s tartar sauce recipe too.
