Thanks, again, Robin. You’ve the hit the ball out of the park on this one. I ordered mine on Amazon.com even before you posted it could be pre-ordered. To my surprise, I even got a few cents back from Amazon because of their pre-order guarantee. I posted to my Facebook that I was hosting again this year after a few years off and got a great response. I’m excited to incorporate some of the new ideas and cookies into my cookie exchange.

Like many others, I stumbled across Robin’s website for hosting a cookie exchange several years ago. Over the past few years, I found lots of ideas shared by others that have helped me grow my cookie exchange. Now I have a wait list to attend as I limit to 20 ladies. I received my copy of The Cookie Party Cookbook last week and couldn’t put it down. I learnt several tips in just the first few pages. When I got to the cream cheese cookie, I thought AH HA, i’ve found my cookie for this year but then I read on and I found more and more I wanted/ needed to make. Robin’s Cookie Party Cookbook takes you beyond Cookie Exchanges. It’s really a staple book that all bakers should have in their collection as the cookies can be made ALL YEAR ROUND! I so love this book, I am ordering more to give as prizes at this years event and I know the ladies will love it! Especially the International Section cause that is the theme for next year’s Exchange. Robin congrats to you.. I know this will become a huge seller and a book handed down the generations.

Ten years ago I decided I would like to host a Cookie Exchange Party and went to the internet looking for information. I came across Robin’s web site ([…]), which is the best there is for all Cookie Party related things, and have been a big fan ever since. When I learned through her newsletters that she would be writing a Cookie Cookbook I knew right away that I would be adding it to my cookbook collection. I have read the book cover to cover and it is so much more than just another cookie cookbook. Robin gives attention to the numerous facets of hosting a cookie exchange – the rules, themes, game ideas, and more – as well as includes a wide variety of out-of-the-ordinary cookie recipes. Each recipe is rated for baking skill level and I appreciate all the pictures of the yummy cookies. I look forward to trying some of the recipes for my Cookie Exchange Party this year and hope that many others will do the same. This book is a wonderful addition to any cookbook library and would make a great gift for the baker in your life!

Six years ago I was in search of a way to start a Cookie Exchange. I came upon Robins website, and started a family tradition. A few years later I purchased the workbook and took it up a notch. Now “The Cookie Party Cookbook is a comprehensive, informative, down to earth read. While reading the book several times I had the feeling I was sitting at the kitchen table talking with a girlfriend about a cookie swap. Robins expertise on the subject is evident in her comfortability and ease of delivering information and her down to earth writing.

Not only will the beginner feel confident to hostess a party, the experienced hostess will get step by step guidance and encouragement to be more creative and go bigger. There isn’t any subject she didn’t cover from save the dates, invites, menus, games and my particular favorite, Common Hosting Concerns. There was a lot of graceful ways to handle the sticky suitations.Keep an eye out for the recipes and cookie key.

I was moved to learn Robins background with baking and with the women who inspired her. This is a positive nuturing book. When your done I know you too will realize Cookie Exchanges are about so much more than just cookies. You will come away with an appreciation for friends, family, and tradition. Most of all an appreciation for Robin for writting this great book and helping you on your way to a much anticipated yearly tradition. Congratulations Robin

As a 15-year seasoned cookie exchange hostess, I can attest that “The Cookie Party Cookbook: The Ultimate Guide to Hosting a Cookie Exchange by Robin Olson” is EXACTLY what every cookie exchange hostess (and guest) needs! Robin clearly explains how to host a cookie exchange, the different party themes, baking tips, how she started her cookie exchange tradition, as well as shares the wonderful heart-warming story behind her love for baking.

I absolutely love the fact that the recipes are tried and true from cookie exchange hostesses all over the country. I have been submitting photos of my cookie exchanges to Robin for years so when she asked me to submit one of my cookie recipes for her book, I knew that I could only send her my absolute best cookie recipe. I’m sure other hostesses felt the same which is why I can’t wait to try every single recipe in the book!

This book is a MUST for anyone interested in learning how to host a cookie exchange, attend someone else’s exchange, and even for seasoned hostesses like myself. I plan on giving Robin’s book to all of my cookie exchange participants this year!
